The lemon pepper chicken 10/10!!!!!! We also got the Alfredo and pear/gorgonzola salad which did not disappoint!

Saw this place off the side of the freeway and decided to check it out. The dining room looked updated and modern but the parking was shared with the liquor store next door and the surrounding hotels so parking wasn't ideal. Greeted right away and sat down at a clean table with menus. The server (Alex) was on top of it and checked in periodically. He even gave me a soda to go (after using the check in for the free soda in the first place). Shout out to Alex for great service. I ordered the goat cheese and pesto benedict... even after reading the reviews about it having too much sauce (which I agree with), still had to give it a try since it's not something you see every day. Def good but needed some additional seasoning, I had to add salt, even with the normally salty goat cheese, still needed some more. The waffle and egg breakfast was good as well, large portion and tasty. Def need to try other things on the menu when I'm back.

I stayed at the Atwood hotel next-door so this restaurant being so close was very convenient. The food came out quick, it was presented well, and it all tasted great ... also good portions for a decent price. The coffee was a little bit weak for my taste but Veronica's smile made the whole experience a 5.0 star rating! (it seems nobody smiles anymore, it was quite refreshing, and made me feel welcome) Keep up the good work, Veronica!!! (they really should give you a raise!!) To Crust Kitchen: keep this employee!! I would come back just for her smile and charming demeanor. -Chuck from Palm Springs

Our first day in San Diego for my cousins wedding we had to eat lunch. This Crust Kitchen place (we thought was pizza) was right next to our hotel. The ambience looked pleasant on the photos and then we read the menu and it looked like there was more to offer. In my opinion the only advice I have for this company is maybe the name doesn't really highlight what it sells to its customers....moving on.. Our first trip we had the club sandwich, split with my wife and I. I checked in on Yelp and I got a free soda lol I was stoked but the server we had took about 15 minutes to come back. I don't remember her name but she wasn't a bad waitress. I was hoping for a soda on top of my water I ordered...also ordered a coffee but she didn't hear me so I stuck with my water w/no ice. The sandwich was great. THICK ham and Bacon but I will say it was dry(no mayonnaise)...great though. Not complaining. The potato chips tasted like a homemade baked lays. Wasn't impressed. Dry and no salt... Everything was good enough that day....until we went back the next morning! Thanks goodness the waffle spot was packed because we went back to the Crust Kitchen. Our server Vera was phenomenal! Wow! Her smile, her laughter, her attention to detail, and her ability to get us what we needed before we even asked for it. She had GREAT recommendations and yet even explained how I would probably not like something based in my tastes. The Mexican omelet was bursting with flavor! The salsa, jalapeños, lots of cheese, and don't even get me started on the flavor of the fresh coffee... It was to die for! I've had lots of coffees in my lifetime but their house black coffee is hands down the best! From piping hot flavors, to even when it was room temperature. It never became sour and I could actually taste the after notes in the coffee while drinking it. Vera was nice enough to give us a cup to go. Without even asking. That's amazing service! Vera deserves a raise. Maybe we will see you again Crust Kitchen. Maybe with a different name? lol The only bad item on the meal was the breakfast potatoes. They were not cooked all the way, soggy and not crisp...same with the vegetables cooked into them. I'd come here and sit in Vera's section.

We stayed at Courtyard Marriot for a quick weekend in SD and needed a quick breakfast. Everywhere I called had a long wait so just decided to go to a place that's near. They have mixed reviews but we gave it a shot. There was no wait but there are people constantly arriving. Took a while before we were acknowledged since she's the only one but gave us a huge smile when she greeted us. Vera seated us right away and was pleasant when she took our orders. I tried the corned beef eggs benedict (dunno why I had it over med but lesson learned) it was good amd not shredded like I expected but I liked it better sliced. Hubby got the chicken and waffles. The waffles are not the usual too crunchy/hard to chew but soft and reminds me of a waffle dog consistency. My son got the choc chip pancakesnare finished em all (No pic and my vid was too short to post) We were happy with the food and service so I'm giving then 5 stars

First off, the hours are not accurate on Yelp! I spoke to the family owner, and they open at 9 am temporarily. Normally, it is 7am. The restaurant is doing meals for veterans in the mornings for a short time period. Upon entering this really nice family owned restaurant, I was immediately greeted by one of the family owners. I was getting my food to go, and he was very patient while I decided. Their inside dining is very clean and quaint. Music is done perfectly! I hate restaurants that blare their music as if it is a nightclub. This music was a nice touch and loud enough for mild background ambiance. I got the 2 eggs with sausage, a side of fruit, and a side of avocados. The sides were only $1.89 each, I believe! Unfortunately, they forgot to give me the avocados. The eggs were tasty, fluffy, and not runny... perfect! The potatoes with peppers that came with my eggs were delicious. My side of fruit was fresh and tasty, but it would have been better with more variety than cantaloupe and honeydew. I got my wife a breakfast burrito with bacon. It came with tater tots! The burrito was huge. You can easily split it. She loved the burrito and didn't make it through half! Overall, the service was great other than my missing avocados. The food portions are excellent for the prices. The flavor of the food was excellent as well. If you are in the area, definitely drop in and check these guys out!

A few friends and I swung by here for lunch one day. One of my friends brought her lunch from home and the staff were super nice about allowing her to eat. They made sure to let her know she didn't have to hide it and it was okay that she ate it in the open. This showed me that they are super chill and understanding. The ambiance was chill, wasn't busy at all. We went around 12:30p on a week day. I ordered a Paris Burger. It was DELICIOUS. I brought my leftovers home it still tasted good being warmed up in the oven at home. My friend ordered the Tri Tip Philly. She said she really enjoyed it. My friend ordered coffee and said that was good too. The menu had so much variety. They had breakfast foods in the afternoon which I love. The service was great, which always makes a difference. I would 100% come back and look forward to it.
